Miscellany: Seen while watching the NBA Finals...

Okay, here's a trailer for ABC's reality TV show that pits celebrities against each other in stock car racing:

First of all, anyone who's the author of a book of poetry called "A Night Without Armor" shouldn't be able to talk smack for the rest of their life. Second of all, William Shatner has the unique ability to be inadvertently funny no matter what he's doing or where he is.

Hundred Sixty or Sixteen? It would be fun-er and funnier if they were on motorcycles, but then the camera wouldn't get the facial-reaction shots so well. Shatner is hilarious.

Well, given that most of the celebs are athletes (Tony Hawk, Serena Williams, etc.) it shouldn't be too hard physically for them to learn how to ride a bike. But motorcycle racing is much less popular than NASCAR.

And Shatner on a Ducati Desmosedici = teH laughter
